As you may have noticed in one of the latest simPRO updates, it is now possible to map your jobs geographically.  Mapping of jobs has been in high demand from many simPRO clients and has proven to have many benefits.  The most beneficial impact of job mapping is controlling costs; as it enables you to see the location of each job on the map within the scheduling screen, enabling you minimise travel time and maximise billable time on site, creating the most economical way to do these jobs, and lets face it –petrol is not going down in price!

Due to simPRO’s recent interface with Navman Wireless’ AVL2 fleet tracking system you can now also see where your vehicle’s are on the same map as your jobs, allowing you to plan and dispatch jobs directly to the technician’s vehicle’s M-Nav units seamlessly.

With an active interface, from directly within simPRO you can;

• Track your vehicles live directly from your scheduling screen
• Dispatch job information and routes directly to your vehicles
• Optimise and route plan your jobs
• Assign technicians to jobs geographically
• Track when your technicians arrive and leave site to help update your billable time and invoice more effectively

Activating the interface is easy.  Simply obtain a password from Navman Wireless and enter into your `Add-on’ defaults in simPRO and you’re good to go.
