simPRO Fire is a scheduling, testing and reporting system for professional fire protection companies that delivers a powerful maintenance planner for required tests working to AS1851-2005 or is customisable to your own needs. Additionally there is a powerful client access portal for facilities managers and end users to access reports, view upcoming testing and even view & accept automatically created quotes for the repair of failed items.

Building upon the stability and strength of the well-known existing simPRO Enterprise, simPRO Fire provides fire protection companies full control of all aspects of their business from estimating, scheduling, routine tests, stock control, recurring jobs/invoices, reporting and full integration to the most popular accounting systems.

Built for Fire Contractors to Current Standards

As required by the Australian Standards, simPRO works with different maintenance frequencies (service levels) that need to be scheduled against different asset types. Manual management of this process can generally be extremely time consuming and prone to errors. The complication for Fire Protection Contractors is managing this obligation of testing and reporting across many customers, base buildings (sites) and tenancies, further compounded by the different sections of the Standards.

simPRO Fire uses leading edge web based software to allow you to manage your contracted testing obligations including fully automated population of scheduled tests based on AS1851-2005 Standards, the ability to assign the right technician for the different tests, drag and drop rescheduling, a powerful database for asset management that is preloaded with all the required tests and the ability for the end user to log into a secure web portal to view all their test reports and to electronically approve quotes created by simPRO Fire.

How It Works

This powerful web based software is designed to deliver efficiencies in the back office, but where simPRO Fire really excels is in the full integration of mobility options such as tablets, smartphones and digital pen and paper technology.

In order to comply with AS1851-2005 Logbook requirements we recommend the use of Digital Pens which deliver the compliance requirements of paper copies on site and the speed of electronic sending from mobile devices. With Digital Pens all the fire testing forms & logbooks that are available with the simPRO Fire system are printed as logbooks (with your branding) designed to comply with the standards; these are electronically transmitted back from site as soon as they are completed.

The information collected from these forms is updated into the testing records; any faults are forwarded into the estimating component of simPRO so they can be quoted in the shortest time possible. Your client can then login to approve the quotes which will then be automatically converted into a job so it can be scheduled to be completed, the client can also access all copies of the test sheets and certificates.
