Perth Information Session Update
As a rule he/she who has the most information will have the most success……
At simPRO we want to see all out clients get the most out of their systems, and by that we are confident it will indeed translate into success. So, on Thursday the 18th of March we extended the knowledge base offered to simPRO clients and prospective users by hosting our first ever information session.
The information session was a follow on event from the user forum held in Perth in November last year. An element of the user forum was to go over the key developments achieved by simPRO in the last 12 months. Deciding on what key developments to go over was a task in itself considering there were so many, and demonstrating them with the attention they deserve was something that warranted an event in itself – an information session!
The Western Australian simPRO team of Paul Prothero and Darren Whitby, with some the flyin from Curtis Thomson (Acorn Software’s Technical Director) put together a 2 hour presentation that covered our key developments and also went over some of the lesser used, but very helpful parts of simPRO. Much like the way we approach the development of simPRO – by asking users what they want. We adopted the same approach to the info session, providing respondents with a list of topics to choose from that would form the content of the evening.
Topics presented on were: Renewable Energy Credits (REC’s), maintenance planner contracts, contractor Portal and contactors and on quotes, marketing through simPRO – Sending info to prospects/customers, barcoding – setup, adding barcodes, stock takes, transfers etc., new template and PDF setup, request for Payment letters (customisation), Client Management Portal, using tasks to ensure work flows are completed.
A lot to squeeze into 2 hours, but all topics were well received and the feedback was nothing but positive. The information session’s will occur quarterly in WA and is something that will add value to simPRO users and see us further develop into a fundamental core of exceptional businesses in the trade service industries.
